Yvette Lopez is a social work professional with experience across behavioral health, substance-use treatment, residential treatment, transitional housing, nonprofit organizations, community-based programs, and public-sector settings.
Her professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities through difficult experiences while recognizing the important role that culture, environment, relationships, and access to resources can play in emotional well-being.
Behavioral health, crisis intervention, substance-use treatment, residential treatment, and recovery-oriented services.
Work with adolescents, adults, families, Spanish-speaking, nonprofit organizations, and community-based programs.
USDA experience, emergency-response activities, and environmental/community advocacy.
Mental health is shaped by more than symptoms alone. Yvette uses a whole-person perspective that considers relationships, culture, environment, daily experiences, strengths, and access to supportive resources.
Yvette strives to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can talk openly about what they are experiencing, better understand patterns in their lives, strengthen coping skills, and work toward goals that feel meaningful and realistic.
Therapy may include exploring emotions, identifying strengths, developing healthier coping strategies, improving communication, establishing boundaries, processing difficult experiences, and strengthening resilience.
You deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. When you are ready, I invite you to reach out and take the next step toward healing, clarity, and growth.
I work with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, parenting challenges, and self-esteem issues. I also support individuals navigating substance-use recovery and co-occurring mental-health concerns.
Your first session is a welcoming space to share what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and decide what support may be most helpful. We will review your history, current concerns, strengths, and hopes for change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-informed approaches while honoring your lived experiences, culture, values, strengths, and personal goals.

No. Many people begin therapy simply knowing that they want to feel better, understand themselves more deeply, or receive support during a difficult time. We can explore what is happening together and create goals that feel meaningful and manageable for you.
